Access Log Manager
Access Log Manager - what role does it serve and how you could use the info you'll find inside it.
An access log contains a record of all the files which have been requested by the visitors while browsing your Internet site. The list is detailed, so in case you have a webpage with two embedded images, for example, all of the three files will be in the log, not just the page. An access log normally features the date, the OS, the Internet browser and the IP address for each and every file in human-readable form, so you can get a good idea about the most popular files on your site. The log, which is also typically called "raw data", is an addition to the web statistics that you typically get with a hosting account, not an alternative. A good example why you could need such a log is if you want to use some software on your personal computer to prepare a report about the website’s performance, but you don't want to use the standard graphs and tables that come with the server-generated site statistics.

Access Log Manager in Shared Web Hosting
Our in-house built Hepsia CP includes a section dedicated to various logs and the access logs are one of them. Once you sign in to your
shared web hosting account and go to this section, you shall find a list of all the
domains and subdomains that you have. All it takes to allow the generation of access logs is to press a button that'll be available next to each and every domain/subdomain. In case the option is enabled, you will see a download link together with the file size so far, so you'll be able to save the file to your computer and view it or process it with some program. Enabling or disabling the logs becomes effective right away, so if you don't need one, you could stop it with simply a click from the exact same section of the CP. You'll still be able to access the already created content by simply clicking on the Download link.
