A catch-all email mailbox is one that collects all the messages sent to non-existent email addresses. For example, if your address is info@domain.com, but somebody misspells it and sends an email message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have configured. Only one single mailbox per domain can have this feature enabled and thus you will never miss emails because the other side has an outdated email address or has made a spelling mistake. The downside of creating a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving lots of unsolicited emails, but this problem can be resolved using an anti-spam filtering solution. It’s also crucial to keep in mind that a mailbox with an activated catch-all feature cannot redirect inbound email messages to a 3rd-party mailbox.
