A Control Panel is a software tool which is used to control the content of an Internet hosting account. This includes, but is not limited to, files, e-mails, databases, stats and various operations carried out with them. The Control Panel provides a web-based interface to handle all of these things and everything else associated with the web hosting service using different sections where you can access functions through buttons and/or menus. The less difficult to use a CP is, the easier it'll be for you to control your online presence in its entirety. In the standard case, the CP is the web hosting account’s back office, while a different billing account is employed to manage payments and domain registrations - if the company offers that service. Trouble tickets may be addressed via the billing account or by using a different system.
